So when last we left off I had deleted TikTok off my phone because it went down for about 12ish hours. It’s back now, but I can’t redownload it because Apple has removed it from the App Store. I can access videos through the website, but I can’t post anything because even though you’re supposed to be able to post up to however many minutes online, all it will let me do is 20 seconds.
Again, that’s fine because I’ve been trying to establish myself over on Youtube. I’m up to 192 subscribers now. I think? It varies from day to day. Not that I’m particularly worried about it because monetization is not my goal – but it’s interesting to watch.
I also have an account on Clapper (which is meh) and Likee (I honestly feel too old to be on Likee). I’ve also signed up for Tome (which isn’t what I thought it would be and I’m not sure how I feel about that). I’m currently waiting to see how Neptune and Skylight turn out. I’m leaning a little more towards Skylight since I’ve been watching the process of it being created.
I’ve permanently signed out of Twitter. I didn’t delete my account because I have hope that maybe one day the muskrat will sell it and it will be rescued, but I know the odds of that happening are slim to none. I’m still on Facebook and Instagram, but only because family is on there and that’s the best way to keep in contact with them at times.
I’m not sure about Tribel. I’ve ignored Tumblr for so long I’m not sure what is happening over there. I have a dream width though I’ve never used it. And LJ is a wasteland.
I really really REALLY like BlueSky though. Nine times out of ten you can find me rambling on there. Or reposting. Or sharing cat videos. My goal is to share one cat video per day for the length of Trump’s presidency.
And of course I’m going to try to post here more often. Though I’m not sure what that will look like. Story snippets? More ramblings? Art? Who knows!
